Aviator: how to play, RTP and basic rules

GAMESPlay now ›

Aviator is one of the most popular online casino games in Mexico. It is made by the provider Spribe and belongs to the crash game category: instead of spinning reels, you watch a plane take off while a multiplier climbs, and you decide when to get out. In this profile we explain how to play, what its RTP means and what you should know before betting.

How to play Aviator

Each round has three moments:

  1. Bet. Before the plane takes off, you choose the amount and confirm your bet.
  2. Flight. The plane takes off and the multiplier starts at 1.00x and climbs: 1.50x, 2x, 5x and beyond.
  3. Cash out. While the plane is flying, you can press the cash-out button. You win your bet multiplied by the value at that moment. If the plane flies away before you cash out, you lose the bet.

The round ends at a random point. It can end at 1.00x or reach very high multipliers, and there is no way to know in advance.

Main features

RTP and the “provably fair” system

Spribe publishes a 97% RTP for Aviator. This means that, over a huge number of rounds, the game pays back on average 97 out of every 100 pesos wagered. In a short session the result can be very different, up or down. If you want to understand the concept properly, read what RTP is.

Aviator uses a provably fair system: the result of each round is generated from data supplied by the server and by the first players in the round, and it can be checked afterwards from within the game. Nobody, neither the casino nor another player, can change the result once the round has started.

Predictors do not exist

Social media is full of apps and groups that promise to “predict” when the plane will fly away. They are fake. Because the result is generated randomly and verifiably, there is no pattern to guess by looking at the history. These apps usually ask for payments, personal data or access to your account. Do not use them.

Nor are there strategies that assure winnings. Always cashing out at a low multiplier means you win more often, but small amounts; waiting for high multipliers means you win less often. Either way, the long-run RTP is the same.

Frequently asked questions

What is the RTP of Aviator?

Spribe publishes a 97% RTP for Aviator. It is an average calculated over a huge number of rounds; it does not tell you what you will get back in one session.

Are there predictors or tricks for Aviator?

No. The point at which the plane flies away is generated by a verifiable random system before the round starts. Apps that promise to predict it are scams and usually want your data or your money.

Can I place two bets in the same round?

Yes. Aviator allows two simultaneous, independent bets, each with its own cash-out button and its own auto cash-out option.

What happens if my connection drops during a round?

According to the game rules, if auto cash-out was on it is applied as normal. If not, the bet is settled under the provider's rules, which you can read in the game menu.
